Every Story Has A Villain
Acrylic on canvas
18 x 24in.

I cultivate a deliberate space where humanity's contradictions are made visible — a practice I consider both vocation and medicine. As a South Asian American physician and visual artist, I navigate the layered tensions of dual inheritance - cultural, clinical, and creative. My practice emerges from this multiplicity, where identity is not a fixed origin but an ever negotiated canvas.

My work aims to layer persona, celebrity, fashion and symbolism into figurative narratives that link sitter and artist in shared complexity.
We are complex and influenced by everything around us - some things we choose and some we don’t - choose intentionally.
Words can inspire. Take a pause with me and check out some of my favorites here.
